For my Boss
How can I begin to put into words the way I feel about my boss Nick? He is more than just an excellent mentor, capable leader and knowledgeable trainer, I am lucky enough to consider him my friend!

For more than 10 years he has taught me all about the HVAC industry, the importance of customer service, staying well organized, setting goals, upholding one’s integrity, paying close attention to detail, delegating, respecting others, and knowing when to set boundaries and say “no”. In addition to these crucial business and life lessons, he’s invited me to ASPE dinners, been an extremely supportive friend on Facebook and has had us over for holiday and pool parties at his own home (so we could even meet the pets)!
Go-Kart Racing
He is our go-to-guy in my company who always has a knowledgable answer to almost any question that can be asked. He is the epitamy of “Tribal Knowledge”, passing information along to others so that we all can learn from both the pitfalls and successes of our fellow coworkers, and over time build up a greater understanding as a team. He always has one ear open and if he overhears a crisis or situation unfolding, he’s the first to speak up and see if he can help in anyway. I do not know a more knowledgeable, respected and integral member of Dawson Company.
Steve’s retirement party
Tomorrow morning he will be having surgery, and I would be lying if I said I wasn’t concerned. I have lost a lot of sleep about it since I found out, and his heartfelt and emotional speech at the dinner this past Saturday left me in tears.
Pre-Dodger Game
Nick, please know that we are all pulling for you, and we appreciate and respect your honesty in sharing with us what will be going on. Please know that I will do my absolute best holding the fort while you are recovering and that our team has really stepped it up just this past week to get the work done and carry on in our absence. Surgery is not a fun thing, but you are in good hands and so strong! Like a cat, you will land on your feet - You got this!
To Lori, lots of love and support during this crucial time. You are married to a wonderful man who speaks the world of you everyday. He loves your trips together, good food, the aforementioned adorable pets, musical theater performances and all that life has to offer! You two are an inspiration online (and in person of course), and there is so much more to come!
Halloween 2015
I want to state my gratefulness for a mentor that cares for me like a father, and for his company like a family. I know no one like you on this Earth and you have taught us all to be better, more educated people. When you return, I will be ready to take on the next step and cover a lot more of your roles, responsibilities and duties. You have trained us well - Now watch us shine!
