Why do you guys like to Cook?
Our path to cooking begins many years ago. Crystal and I loved to watch cooking shows from the start. It wasn't long until we wanted to cook alongside Rick Bayless and America's Test Kitchen. Despite being very young, (we were dating, and in college,) we always tried to find the best ingredients we could and present it as nicely we could.
From those early days of meat and potatoes to the dishes presented in the gallery, there was a lot of years and cooking in involved. We can make just about anything now, and it's a skill I find meditative and calming. It's like making this little temporary work of art that pleases the senses for time its enjoyed.
We so value cooking, that we do it despite not having a proper kitchen. Everything depicted was made using an induction hotplate, convection toaster oven, slow cooker or hand-me-down BBQ. So, if we can do it, so can you! Click below for cooking blog.
