Paris Metro - Paris, France
The Paris Metro is one of the largest and oldest subway systems in the world. It opened in 1900, and many of stations still feature beautiful plant-like Art Nouveau cast-iron and vintage signage. Bustling, confusing and filled with all kinds of people from all over. It was really cool passing the various stalls and vendors in the tunnels between the stations. Not so cool was this seemingly never-ending spiral staircase from deep in a tunnel, to the top of a hill. It felt like it was never going to end! So relieved to make it topside! Paris Metro is really impressive Good to see on its own, and a solid bet for getting around
