LA Library Mobile Museum Fest - Video Blog
We read that there was two events going on in Downtown LA that we might want to check out last weekend. The LA Central Library was hosting a mobile museum fest.
Local museums big and small would park their museum’s on wheels they bring to various communities.
I had found out recently that if you get an LA Public Library Card, you get free admission to various museums and attractions around the city, as well as access to ebooks and what not.
The other thing was it was National Pants-less Subway Ride day. A trend that started in New York and has spread around the world.
The idea is one rides pants-less yet acts like everything is perfectly normal. We weren’t necessarily going to participate but thought it would make a good spectacle.
Despite a light-rail and subway ride, we only caught a glimpse of a few pants-less people on the way back going the opposite direction as us.
We stopped for coffee and delicious croissants at Pitchoun Bakery near the library on Olive st. It was awesome!
We arrived at the LA Central Library. We checked out the mobile museum exhibits and discovered that the whole library seemed to be having an open house. We explored the interior of this great LA landmark! Check out the video above to see the whole story!
